Advertising Odds & Ends

  1. Pay Per Click:  I had not been recommending PPC advertising because frankly too many people try it without knowing how to do it right and lose their financial shirts.  Mike Dillard has changed all that.  Too much for me to teach you but Mike does a great job!  Get PPC Domination right now and Devour It!
  2. Leads Leap:  Weird name isn't it?  I completely forgot about Ken's offer.  Since I signed up with this a little over 3 weeks ago, I have gotten over 300 direct hits to my site that I promote with him and they come in every day without stopping.  AND, the ebook he has hits the nail on the head of building your list and how you can do it JUST LIKE I AM TEACHING YOU.  So, if you don't believe me, read it from Ken at Leads Leap
  3. Remember:  Advertising is the basis of all sales and therefore profits
  4. Headlines are vitally important.  If your headline is no good, no one will read your ad.  Learn about good headlines at my blog.
  5. Test your headlines with this professional tool.  Don't skimp on this!
  6. Always Spam Check your emails to make sure you have the BEST CHANCE of getting through the email spam filters.
  7. Don't ever try to jam your favorite business or product down my throat right off the bat.
  8. Use BENEFITS not FEATURES in your advertising.  If you don't know the difference, LEARN it.
  9. Always personalize your messages by using the prospects first name.  All good autoresponders do this as do many advertising sources like ListBuilders.  Your response will expand by a factor of 3 or 4 (4 times the response) when you use the prospects first name in your headline and in the body of the message.
  10. Most advertising does not work because the writers don't understand marketing psychology.  Attraction Marketing WORKS.  Read and Heed.
  11. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try, try, try again...
  12. Testing ads to see what is working is the key to success
  13. Use different types of advertising.
  14. Keep trying new ads
  15. Never stop.
  16. When you get a good ad that is pulling, 'roll it out' to the maximum.
  17. Never advertise your main business URL
  18. ALWAYS use a lead capture form (aka "Squeeze Page") in your ads
    If you don't... you will lose leads... all the time
  19. ALWAYS use an 'ad tracker' to find out which ads pull good and which ones don't
    If you don't, you won't know which ads work will you?
  20. Followup with your prospects from 5 to 12 times at least as this is where 80% or more of all sales are made.  That's right... not on the 1st exposure, not on the 2nd exposure, not on the 3rd or 4th but from the 5th to the 12th exposure. (I know... I wrote the article on this!  See it right here and read it closely.
  21. Followup can and should be done in as many different ways as possible.
