Basic Rules for Using Banners

Banners were popular a few years back but by today's standards were kind of expensive.  That has all changed now and with the advent of semi-automated banner-makers, you can make one, get it in circulation and get prospects from it pretty cheaply

The idea is you make a banner, find a service that uses banners for advertising and have them drive traffic to your banner.

  1. Make your own banner (easy) at Banner Maker No cost and they will even host it for you and give you a link to use it with.  That's where I made the one at the top of this page and this one for my Wealth Guide series.

    They make it super easy with online software.

  2. Use your banner in Traffic Exchanges because most of them GIVE you free banner impressions just for signing up with a free account.

  3. Testing ads to see what is working is the key to success

  4. When you get a good ad that is pulling, 'roll it out' to the maximum.

  5. Never advertise your main business URL

  6. ALWAYS use a lead capture form (aka "Squeeze Page")
    If you don't... you will lose leads... all the time

  7. ALWAYS use an 'ad tracker' to find out which ads pull good and which ones don't
    If you don't, you won't know which ads work will you?

  8. Followup can and should be done in as many different ways as possible.
